Ayurveda Massage image

In Ayurveda, massages and manual treatments hold a central place in the process of healing. They are never considered simple relaxation techniques—they are true therapeutic tools, prescribed in harmony with the full treatment plan. It is strongly recommended to do a full Ayurvedic consultation before starting massages, so that treatment can be focussed on the individual health conditions and the outcome can be more effective.

According to Ayurvedic philosophy, touch nourishes the body, soothes the mind, and rebalances the dosha imbalance. Ayurvedic treatments act simultaneously on physical, physiological, emotional, and energetic levels. Combined with lifestyle guidance, herbal preparations, and nutritional support, massages help restore balance (healing) or maintain it (prevention).

Benefits

Boost the immune system.

Help the body recover its natural vitality.

Stimulate blood and lymphatic circulation.

Support digestion and the elimination of toxins (āma).

Strengthen body tissues (dhātus) and provide deep nourishment.

Promote deep grounding and lasting mental calm.

Slow down the ageing process and nourish the skin, enhancing its glow, colour, and texture.

Increase overall energy by removing deep-rooted fatigue and promoting restorative sleep.

Enhance longevity by eliminating toxins and strengthening physiological functions.

Stabilise and calm the doshas, the bodily humors often responsible for imbalances such as stress, insomnia, pain, and anxiety.

Who is it for?

Ayurvedic massages are beneficial for all individuals who are stressed, tense, or mentally overwhelmed. Those experiencing muscular or joint pain. Anyone with digestive, metabolic, or hormonal imbalances. People seeking weight loss or a feeling of lightness. Overworked individuals needing nervous and emotional support. Anyone looking for preventive care and better overall well-being. Massages can be adapted for adults of all ages and to many conditions, except where specific contraindications are identified during consultation.

How are treatments prescribed?

Every treatment is personalised based on your constitution (prakṛti), imbalances (vikṛti), and current health condition. After a brief consultation before each session, we carefully select one of the Ayurvedic oils, powder mix, or herbal preparation (chosen from many traditional formulas). The type of manual technique (speed, pressure, direction, style of movement) and the frequency of sessions is decided based on the intensity of the imbalance. For example:

Acute conditions: more frequent sessions.

Chronic conditions: frequency is followed as per consultation outcome.

Prevention & maintenance: regular but spaced sessions.

Self-massage: recommended daily to support balance.

We use only natural, high-quality Ayurvedic products, prepared according to traditional Ayurvedic methods. The medicinal properties of the plants are transmitted to the body and mind during the treatment.
